I added this page tonight, and to start off the selection I chose a sampling of Proposal pages from The Underground, as well as some cityscape designs I completed during my time with the Windsor Art Studio. I was really lucky for the time I had there, the knowledge shared between artists, and the sincere fellowship. Donna, JoAnne, Sue, Husvad, and Lucky the greatest artists I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, and working with.

One of my faves!
I've also uploaded one of my favourite pictures under 'Comic Art' today. Some of you may have seen it already, but hey, I said it was one of my favourites didn't I? This is a coloured pic of two characters from the comic series, "The Underground", locked in a vicious battle. This was a combination of traditional and digital art, and I really enjoyed finding my groove with this piece. I drew all the components of it on individual sheets of tracing paper, scanned them, and then put them together and coloured them in Photoshop. Did I mention that this was one of my favourites?
"Squares"
Today's update is found under the 'Fine Art' tab. Admittedly, this is an area that I never considered to be a major part of my repertoire. All the same, opportunities have risen which have pushed me to explore further this side of my artwork. The first piece added to this section is a three-piece 'painting' (I use the term very loosely), which was completed as a commission. The canvases are constructed on wood (many thanks to my dad for that), and the shapes are actually built in layers using foamboard. Despite the flat use of colours, the layers really added a nice sense of depth to the piece, and has really gotten my own wheels turning about all the other applications for such a technique. Oh the things you discover when you step outside the box!

Caricature Update!
Though I'm not sure it's exciting enough to warrant an exclamation point...I went there, and I'm not taking it back.
I recently finished this caricature for the Twisted Studio website. It's our webmaster, Dave Rocha, in his favoured Roman armour. Click on the Caricatures tab in the menu bar to check it out, and if you've got the time check out Twisted Studio's site: http://www.twistedstudio.ca/
More images are coming, I'll be getting the galleries filled up bit by bit. Keep checking in, and thanks for your patience as I get things in order here.

Here we go
With the increase in art requests, I've decided to start up this blog to spotlight the 'other' art I've been working on. True, work on The Underground keeps me pretty strapped. All the same I do manage to branch out and complete work in a wide variety of mediums and subject matter. I hope to use this site as a means of showing the other side of my artistic endeavours, the other side of where my passion dwells...
